“TO SONNETS”

‘To Sonnets’ is the visual translation of a literary sonnet. The visual translation shares a similar set of rules structurally with the traditional poetic form. The fourteen line poem in iambic pentameter with a rhyme scheme of ABBA CDDC EFFE GG – becomes a fourteen scene film, with ten shots per scene, that follows a visual rhyme with the same rhyme scheme.

‘To Sonnets’ explores the relationship between creator and audience, and the journey of artistic communication.
